About the client: is a Hamburg-based company that provides innovative, easily customisable solutions that empower businesses to streamline rental or sales processes, offer an exceptional user experience for customers and reduce time to market. Vengine leads the digital transformation, starting with a groundbreaking impact on Germany’s construction industry. Vengine products have played a pivotal role in the transformation of Kurt Koenig, a long-standing family-owned German construction retail company, and have driven a revolutionary change in the German construction rental market through the integration of Vengine’s fully automated B2C kurts toolbox rental app. Currently, the company is in the process of preparing these cutting-edge solutions as a unified white-label solution.

Your Responsibilities:

In People Management

  • Lead a dedicated team, ensuring their growth and performance through regular one-on-one meetings, mentoring, and coaching
  • Facilitate team member development, setting and tracking goals aligned with the company’s vision
  • Conduct salary reviews to ensure fair and motivating compensation and address any underperformance issues
  • Foster a positive team environment, encouraging collaboration and effective problem-solving.

In Product development:

  • Oversee product feature development to meet customer needs and business goals
  • Manage project progress, ensuring deliverables are on time and within the scope
  • Act as the main communicator between stakeholders and the development team, translating business needs into actionable plans
  • Create a roadmap outlining key milestones for product development, guiding team priorities and deliverables
  • Implement risk management strategies to minimise project risks

In Business Development

  • Manage client relationships to ensure the success of ongoing projects
  • Oversee the team’s finances, including budgeting and financial planning
  • Drive new business opportunities and assist in their acquisition


  • Proficient in leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement
  • Team player, adaptable to fast-paced and dynamic environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Proven capability to oversee the entire project lifecycle in software or product development
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to manage stress effectively, ensuring it doesn’t affect decision-making or team dynamics
  • Strong English language skills for clear communication
