About the job
  • Understand developers team’s needs and goals and look for ways how you can help a team achieve them
  • Facilitate discussions and boost communication within and outside the developers team
  • Look at the team and its processes from the broader perspective, in order to capture what might be overlooked
  • Initiate activities that grow your team (1-2-1, retrospectives, feedback, reality check, team building, trainings and so on)
  • Act as a bridge with other teams and departments
  • Plan & maintain training/conferences budget
  • Follow up on points gathered during 1-2-1 and retros
  • Salary review meetings with each team member, based on input from his PM, HR, Salary budget
  • Participate in Soft Teams Lead’s team meetings and improve Soft Team Lead role and process
  • Be open to managing a partly remote team & traveling to Kaunas 1-2 times a week
Required skills
  • Mentoring and coaching experience
  • Leadership skills
  • A strong sense of responsibility and determination to take ownership of the team’s growth and happiness

  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal, written, presentation)
  • Effective feedback giving skills
  • Experience working with teams
  • Degree in psychology or other social studies
  • Overall understanding of IT (strong advantage)
