About the project

Have you ever listened to a great song on Spotify and wondered how a songwriter gets paid for their creative genius, or how the billions of streams of millions of tracks are processed to pay the right amount of money to the right people?

This project is a unique opportunity to be a part of building the intelligent, automated, cloud-native networks needed to run today’s music industry. 🎼 You will be working with some of the leading experts in the field of big data and cloud technology in the music industry, with fresh and brave ideas aiming to fix the broken legacy pipelines between music users and creators.

What will you do?
  • Work on new components and maintaining existing ones in complex ETL pipelines
  • Participate in development cycle from design to deployment and testing
  • Participate in SCRUM ceremonies
  • Take ownership of parts of the system
  • Mentor less knowledgeable team members
  • Assess and propose improvements for existing solution
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Java/Scala
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Exposure to ETL pipelines
  • Exposure to any of cloud providers
  • Data modeling techniques and methodologies
  • Continuous development and deployment of high availability systems
  • Working experience of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Strong analytical skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Apache Spark for data processing
  • Experience with AWS including EMR, Athena, S3, DynamoDB, OpenSearch
  • Experience with Orchestration tools

For this position we offer 2810-5785 €/month gross salary.
